© 2004 - Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America

Rankings for the Fall Allergy Capitals™ are based on analysis of data from 3 groups of factors: Annual Pollen Levels, Medicine Utilization, and Access to Allergists. Weights were applied to each group of factors reflecting its relative importance as an indicator of how it affects quality of life for seasonal allergy sufferers. Factors were assigned different weights, as developed in consultation with medical and research experts, then total scores were calculated as a composite of all factors.

If you have questions or would like more information about the 2004 Fall Allergy Capitals™ contact the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America at info@aafa.org or call toll-free 1-800-727-8462.
